Our name is Project Prom JSY™.
Who We Are
We are a group of three women, one of whose sons is attending his Prom later this year. We value kindness, compassion, and humility and this is why we have set up this nonprofit organisation.
What We Hope to Do
Our hope is to help and enable students who are in financially difficult situations in getting clothing, shoes, other items and services for their upcoming Proms.
We want to help students feel their best on this special and exciting day, without anything holding them back.
How Will We Do This?
We have attached a poster which contains a list of what donations are needed, alongwith our contact details. The idea is, for anyone who has something on the list that they would like to donate to us, is to give us either a text, call or email and we can letthem know the closest drop off point. We can also offer to pick up some donations if necessary.
Once we have gathered a good number of donations, then we would like to be in further contact with you regarding a number of students who would benefit from this project.
Our Supporters
The Salvation Army in Jersey have generously provided a space for us to hold any donations received and a place to hold any functions in relationship to Project Prom JSY™.
The Bridal Boutique Ltd., owned by Caroline Trehiou, has also kindly offered to donate some dresses and some vouchers towards Project Prom JSY™ and help fit any suits needed.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
We hope that Project Prom JSY™ is something that you will consider supporting to make sure every student that wants togo to their Prom, has the best night ever.
Many Thanks
