Geomarine has proudly supported the Outdoor and Active Zone at Albert Pier for three years, contributing to its continual growth and success.

This year promises an array of family-friendly activities within the Zone. Geomarine will showcase some of their equipment, including an excavator and a spacious sand pit.

Entertainment will abound as 'Capt Jack Sparrow' leads children in crafting treasure maps and pirate hats, along with engaging in the art of 'letterlocking'. Additionally, Hoops and Glitter will dazzle with hula-hoop demonstrations.

Visitors can explore a dedicated space featuring local leisure operators selling water-based products like kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding.

Hooping is a practice that will support you to recognise that there is absolutely nothing about your body that needs to change.
Hooping is a form of expression that will give you a connection with your body and mind that will make you want to move for joy, freedom and flow NOT for punishment. Hooping will ignite you to move because you love your body, not because you hate it or want to change it. .

Come along to the Autism Jersey Duck Race at Le Perquage this Saturday 30th March from 2-4. Kindly sponsored by Romerils🩵

Weather is predicted to be dry 🌤️☀️

A limited amount of tickets will be on sale at the event on the day.

No entry fee and lots of fun activities for all at no cost - Hoops and Glitter JERSEY FACE PAINTING Paul Bentley and the Stormtroopers plus Hook a duck for the teeny tinies 🩵 not forgetting the Easter Bunny 🐰

And LOTS of chocolate eggs kindly donated by Marks and Spencer Jersey and Fox Trading Ltd 🐣

The Beresford Street Kitchen crew will be there with their truck and selling some very tasty snacks and refreshments 🍰🍰🍰

Plus the Community Team Jersey Fire & Rescue will be attending to give out some great guidance in keeping safe at home - and also supporting the Duck Race itself 🐥🐥🐥🐥

And we will be holding a silent action for this gorgeous bunny family lovingly made and kindly donated by Susan Marsh 🩵

We also will be holding a raffle with some amazing prizes 🎁🎁

BBC Jersey will be broadcasting their sports programme live 👍

So lots to see and do and fun for all the family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Heh hoopers,
2024 has got off to a great start. We've been sharing the sparkle and hooping fun at birthday parties and Hen parties already, as well as teaching hooping students at JCG, Guides, Cubs and Scouts at some fun Hoop workshops.
These events usually come about from great reviews and recommendations, so I ask humbly, if you have enjoyed any entertainment with Hoops and Glitter , be it one of our Hoop workshops, Glitter at a wedding or you've purchased one of our handmade hoops, we would be really grateful if you could leave us a review.

🏄‍♀️Promise this is me 🤘 I can't quite believe it! 10 years ago after 2 back operations and years of pain I was told I had to except I wouldn't be able to do any high impact activities. 😓My poor hubby had to help me out of bed each day. I struggled to manage my favourite things, festivals, camping, holidays. Pain management was copious amounts of meds. 👊I made a decision that it couldn't be it! 🧘‍♀️💫A new sports physio, Hooping, stretching, Pilates started a new regime and dropping meds followed. 😄Fast forward to 2022 age 57 and I'm learning to surf!💥 😜Something I didn't think I'd ever be able to do. 🥴It's tough, exhausting, I'm battered and bruised and for every wave I stand up there are 10 I don't 🌊😂 But I'm thrilled with my little wins on the water and more importantly its raising funds for the amazing charity Healing waves. 🌊 I'm so grateful to every one that has sponsored. Why do you support England in the footy, you're Jersey not English? That's what has been asked a lot recently. It's true, proud to be Jersey and not English. Jersey is a British Crown Dependency and is not part of the United Kingdom – however it is officially part of the British Islands. ...
