Our Story
Deb's All Occasion Selection wasn't born in a commercial kitchen. It was born at home.
Every Sunday, my mother baked banana bread for my father so they would have something special to enjoy with their coffee during the week.
It wasn't just about the banana bread.
It was about love.
It was about family.
It was about creating moments around food.
Growing up, I was surrounded by incredible women who believed that some of life's greatest conversations happened around the dinner table. They cooked, they baked, they celebrated, they comforted, and they showed love through every meal they prepared.
At the same time, my career in Hospitality, Tourism, Culinary Management, and Food & Beverage gave me the professional foundation to transform that passion into something bigger.
Then life changed.
When my mother lost her battle with breast cancer, she left me with one request.
She looked at Andrew and said,
"Make sure Debra bakes."
Those words never left me.
They became a promise.
Not long after, I officially began building Deb's All Occasion Selection.
Then another unexpected chapter arrived.
A foot injury, followed by surgery, changed everything. The surgery didn't bring the outcome I had hoped for. Pain became part of everyday life. Eventually, I had to pause the business I had worked so hard to build. I even had to unregister it.
It was heartbreaking.
For a while, it felt like life had pressed pause on my dream.
But I eventually realized something.
My foot may slow me down... but it doesn't get to decide my future.
Today, Deb's All Occasion Selection is being reborn.
Not simply reopened.
Reimagined.
We're creating a modern catering experience built around quality, presentation, hospitality, and food that brings people together.
We're also embracing healthier choices because my own journey has taught me the importance of nourishing our bodies while still enjoying incredible food.
Every salad, every dessert, every grazing table, every catered event, and every meal we prepare carries a little piece of my family's story.
A story of resilience.
A story of faith.
A story of choosing to continue, even when life says stop.
My mother always reminded me,
"This too shall pass."
Today, I choose to believe her.
And with every meal we serve, I hope to create memories for your family the same way she created them for ours.
