I recently conducted another site visit at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort Jamaica. Considered one of the best all-inclusive family hotel, this property is set on the legendary 18th century tropical estate, strategically located next to the infamous Cinnamon Hill Golf Course. It prides itself on being an exclusive oceanfront property location in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The hotel has 495 well-appointed guestroom, with several options for leisure activities to include a waterpark, watersport activities, a spa, gym and an array of dining options.
The Hilton Rose Hall Resort boasts over 44,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor venues. The largest indoor conference facility can comfortably accommodate approx. 800 pax (pre-COVID) in addition to smaller breakout rooms. Outdoor locations include the lawns, beaches and gazebos. Food and beverage is in included in the accommodation rates, however additional F&B acquired during special events is at a surcharge.
Some of the COVID-19 measurements observed throughout the property includes marked social distancing, wearing of masks, consistent cleaning and sanitization, QR codes for hotel directory rather than paper-based, protected food and beverage, but still visibly appealing by the use of glass, among others.
All amenities are still included. For example, room service is now available for 24-hours, but the spa no longer offers facials. The mini-bars in the guestrooms are stocked. If additional items are requested, the guest has to be in the room to collect the items. Similarly is the process for the provision of extra linen, pillows, etc. In addition to the Tourism Product Development Company Ltd. (TPDCo) Jamaica COVID-19 standards, the hotel is guided by the Hilton CleanStay program.
