The fastest growing local show in the upstate, It’s the Oconee Mountain Opry at Eagles Nest Art Center in Salem SC . Roots music is on tap with a dose of cornball comedy as Dave Donor brings a set of cajun music, Singer Song writer Laura Jones plays some original tunes and Ageless Acoustic brings a mix of timeless hits from the sixties and beyond. The Eagle Opry Players will present old fashioned comedy skits between the rotating sets. Come out Saturday January 20 to Eagles Nest Art Center for this variety show like no other. Doors open at 6 show at 7pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased on line at eaglesnestartcenter.org or at the door the day of the show. Christmas local talent showcase at Eagles Nest Art Center Saturday Dec. 2 at 6 pm. Come kick start your Christmas Season with songs, dance and stories. 12 acts on stage throughout the evening. An all out Old Fashioned Christmas extravaganza the way they were put on in local communities in the past. Come share it with us

The Eagles Nest Art Center Auditorium and Campus have three week ends straight of Christmas Cheer! December 2 at 6 pm we host The Christmas Talent Showcase. This show is for local talent to come forward and share their Christmas songs and sketches to celebrate Christmas with the community.
December 8-10 The Living Nativity allows you a drive through experience of Bethlehem at the time of Christ's birth
December 16 brings you a Christmas Concert with The Johnson Edition. Sibling harmonies take you through memories of Christmas past and into present.

Eagles Nest Art Center is excited that Juliet Bravo Pottery LLC has become the first active participant in actually creating a hands on program to benefit the two dimensional arts aspect of our art center vision. We hope the community steps forward and takes advantage of this learning experience. This, coupled with our continued musical events, is making the vision a reality and should encourage more use of the classroom space if there are more entrepreneurs able to step forward and make a difference.

Mr. Jef Wilson has recovered well and we are rescheduling The Songs Of The Cowboy Trail for November 4th. This is a fundraising event for the Eagles Nest Art Center and all proceeds from the show go to support what we do here. Come out for an entertaining evening as only Jef Wilson can provide. This show will present the classic country and western sounds of the cowboy tradition.
