Today, I took a short break from work (slacked off) and went on a pilgrimage of SAIGOKU (west side of Japan). This month, my lucky direction is east from Fortune telling‼️
So today, I went to the ninth temple of SAIGOKU pilgrimage, Nanendo in Nara.
There was a long line of foreign tourists waiting for a goshuin stamp, which I didn't see on my first and second visits💦😱
There were fewer Japanese people🇯🇵 here‼️
Maybe it's cherry blossom season, so there are even more foreign tourists•••.

神奈川県にある取引先様のブースのお手伝いと、インドネシアのお客様が来日し展示会に来られるという事で４日間東京ビックサイトで開催されたFOODEXに参加し、今大阪から戻っている最中ですが、指定券を取っていた新幹線に人生で初めて乗り遅れ💧
元々昼から遅れていた所に、私が乗車する少し前に、ポイント故障で不通に。
しばらく改札口で待っていたら復旧のアナウンスが。やれやれと思いながらスマホで仕事していたら…乗り遅れてしまいました😅
自由も指定も満席。
自由席車両のデッキでキャリーケースの上に座って過ごしています💦
（持つべき物は頑丈なキャリーケース‼️）
ちなみに、私のいるデッキには8名くらいたっています。
名古屋ぐらいまでの我慢かなぁ。

I participated in FOODEX held at Tokyo Big Sight for 4 days due to the help of the booth of business partners in Kanagawa Prefecture and the fact that Indonesian customers came to Japan and visited to the exhibition, and I am on my way back from Osaka now, I took a reservation ticket but I missed the Shinkansen for the first time in my life💧

Shinkansen was originally late from noon, but shortly before I got on the Shinkansen, operation was suspended due to a point failure.
After that I was waiting at the ticket gate for a while, there was an announcement of recovery. When I was working on my mobile while thinking about it... I missed the ride😅

Both reservation and non reservation seats are full at Shinkansen.
So I'm sitting on my carry case on the deck of the unreserved car💦
(What we should have is a sturdy carry case!!️)
By the way, there are abou 8 people in our deck.
I wonder if I have to be patient up to Nagoya

御朱印の本来の意味は、文章（お写経など）をお寺にお納めし、お寺からの御礼や証明書などとか聞いています。

ある札所のお寺さんが教えてくれたのですが、御朱印をもらいに来る方の1割程度しかお写経を納めていないとか…
更に最近では自筆でなく、ネットで般若心経を見つけてプリントアウトして持参する強者もいるそうです💦

Goshuin （stamp of a temple）is an essential part of Kannon pilgrimages, but I think a lot of people have been collecting temple goshuin recently.

I've heard that the original meaning of goshuin is to submit a piece of handwritten text (such as a handwritten of heart sutra) to the temple and receive a thank you or a certificate from the temple.

A temple told me that only about 10% of people who come to get a goshuin submit a handwritten of heart sutra...
Moreover, recently, some people have been finding the Heart Sutra on the internet, printing it out, and bringing it with them instead of handwritten one💦

本日25年1月18日、早くも西国33札所巡礼の2ヶ所目。23番札所勝尾寺（大阪府箕面市）に。
『勝運の寺』とか言われていて、ギャンブル好き、勝負好きの方に良く知られているかと。
また巡礼者の中では、西国33寺の中で最もお金を持ってそうなお寺（笑）の一つと言われています‼️（他に資金が潤沢そうなお寺として、24番宝塚の中山寺、16番清水寺など）

Today, January 18, 2025, I am already at the second temple on my pilgrimage to the 33 temples of the Saigoku region. I visited the 23rd temple, Katsuo-ji Temple (Minoh City, Osaka Prefecture).

It is said to be the "temple of winning luck," and is well known among people who like gambling and competition.

It is also said to be one of the temples that seems to be the richest among the 33 temples of the Saigoku region among pilgrims‼️ (Other temples that seem to be rich include No. 24 Nakayama-dera in Takarazuka, and No. 16 Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto.)

一巡目は過去、2巡目は現生、3巡目は未来の為にと言われています。
今回は自宅から一番近い地元の５番札所葛井寺からスタートです。
葛井寺は西国巡礼の中でも駅前にある数少ない札所です。

I have started my third round of the 100 Kannon Pilgrimage (33 in Saigoku, 34 in Chichibu, and 33 in Bando) from 15/Jan/2025.
It is said that the first round is for the past, the second for the present life, and the third for the future.
This time I started from my local temple number 5, FUJII-DERA Temple, which is the closest to my home.FUJII-DERA Temple is one of the few temples on the Saigoku Pilgrimage that is located in front of a train station.
