2019年8月15日（木）の実施を予定しておりました第60回目の「奈良大文字送り火」は、台風10号の接近の予報を受け、参拝者の皆様の安全を考慮した結果、安全性を十分に確保することが困難であると判断し、中止を決定いたしましたことをお知らせいたします。

尚、慰霊祭につきましては保存会関係者のみで春日大社、大安寺において執り行わせていただきます。

皆様には多大なご迷惑をおかけいたしますこととともに、直前のご案内となりましたことを深くお詫び申し上げます。

奈良大文字保存会は引き続き、継承・発展に努めてまいる所存でございます。

Nakatani-do Very popular with both native Japanese and tourists. At the top of Sanjo Dori Street, this Yomogi Mochi store attracts a crowd with regular displays of rice pounding. The sweets are made of a mix of glutinous rice pounded into a smooth, stretchy paste, and Yomogi(Japanese mugwort) leaves Which impart a very faint herb taste and green hue. The inside is sweet bean paste. You must see how the shop staff performs the speed pounding. It is amazing !!
