Throwback Tuesday! I know, I know, Thursday is typically "throwback day," but, I'm making an exception in this case; this just popped up on our feed and we had to share.

It was so much fun working this wedding, with these awesome people (though sadly we didn't get to meet them all) - it was one of those watershed moments that led us to start doing elopements in Japan.

During a wedding or elopement day things can happen so fast, and if you are not careful it can sometimes become a bit of a blur. This is a day you want to remember and relive for the rest of your lives! A Japanese Tea Ceremony is the perfect way to slow down, be mindful and drink in (pun intended!) the events of the day and live the moment. It is a chance to connect with each other and contemplate on your vows to each other. Plus, it makes for great additions to the photo-album!

Cherry Blossom Vow Renewal - Wedding In Japan

Finding Cherry Blossom in the middle of April, can be a challenge, but by hook or crook, this couple were going to have pink on their special day!

We found one tree in the garden that was pink! 😅

This couple contacted us about two months out hoping for a cherry blossom vow renewal. Cherry blossom in Tokyo usually blooms for a week around March/April.

About 45 minutes north of Shinjuku by express train lies the beautiful old town of Kawagoe. It is fast becoming a favorite of ours due to the beauty of the town, the gardens and the restaurants.

We visited this house and garden with a view to building a vendor relationship. This place was simply stunning; a great place to relax, enjoy the garden and drink a nice cup of Japanese tea freshly made and served during a tea ceremony!
