Meat Pies
Recipe:
Puff pastry
Mince meat
Carrots grated 2pcs
Onions choppes 3pcs
Corriander chopped 1bunch
Cumin powder
Paprika
Salt
Black pepper
Eggwash
Procedure:
Cook the mince meat on heat till well cooked, add in onions carrots corriander and spices set aside.
Roll out your puff pastry and cut to desired shape, i but mine in rectangles can be done square and triangles and more…
Fill the pastry with the cooked mince meat mixture and put on a greased tray.
Pre heat your oven at 200 degrees, Egg wash the pastry and sprinkle sesame seeds(optional)
Bake at 200degrees for 25mins

Mitai
Recipe:
2cups flour
1tbsp oil
1tbsp yeast
1cup warm coconut milk
Procedure:
Mix all ingredients together and form a soft dough.
Leave to proof for about 30mins.
Knock back the dough and roll it out to a thick width, cut in cubes or diamond shape and fry in moderate hot oil till golden brown.
Make Sugar syrup/Shira and toss the mitais in
Mix while on stove till the sugar hardens

Easy Peasy Kaimatis
Recipe:
Flour 250g
Yeast 1/2tbsp
Cardamom 1tsp
Sugar 2tbsp
Pinch of yellow food color
Mala
Water
Procedure:
Mix all the ingredients together until you form a thick runny paste/batter
Leave it to proof for about 30mins and fry small balls in hot oil till golden brown.
Set aside to cool.
Shira/Sugar syrup
Water 1 cup whichever you will use
1/4cup of water of the same cup
Cardamom
Let it boil and put your Kaimatis in
Toss on hit till the sugar crystals then remove from heat…
Serve while hot or leave to cool, your preference 😌! Enjoy

Passion Lemonade
Recipe:
10ripe passion fruits
100ml passion pulp
2 large lemon (juiced)
Mint leaves
50g sugar
2ltr cold sprite
Ice(optional)
Blend mint leaves, sugar, passion pulp
Pour in serving jug and add the 2ltr sprite.
Add in the passion fruits to your liking and serve with icecubes in a glass…
