PART 1:
• BE 💯 PERCENT HONEST AND TRUTHFUL IN YOUR DEALINGS..IF YOU CANNOT PERFORM THE GIG JUST INFORM THE CLIENT ASAP.
•Never get to familiar with your client.Be professional always.Avoid joining a table for FREE DRINKS AND FOOD without official invite.

•DO NOT give out FREE music to a client to please them via USB flashdisks..DO NOT.Music costs money..Sell your mixes always..That is what pays the bill.

•DO NOT be in a rush to send a quote without getting the following facts from a potential client regardless of the pressure to give a quote asap.

*Venue/location
*How many people expected to attend(Pax).
*Duration of the event.
*Transportation charges of both equipment and personnel..(Insist that you provide your own transport ALWAYS)

•A DJ should never ever be seen queing up for food or drinks in an event..NEVER!

•Avoid over indulging in clients food/drinks in an event.
•DO NOT solicit for cash, drinks or food in an event from guests.
• A professional DJ never begs.Just focus on your job and if you are really good,tips and referals will automatically come your way.
•NEVER talk in the microphone to crack a joke about the client if YOU ARE NOT THE OFFICIAL MC.Just play the music.
•Always have your sound equipment clean and crisp..No client wants to have a DJs equipment that needs extra decor to cover the filth and dirt on your speakers.

•A DJ should be FOREVER CLEAN,WELL GROOMED TO THE BONE ALWAYS.

•Do NOT be on phone always while your set is on..Maintain eye contact with your crowd and laptop..PERIOD..

•Avoid inviting your hommies to corporate functions to simply come enjoy FREE FOOD AND DRINKS..Its NOT your birthday party.Its NOT your event..After setting up have your team exit the venue asap.You can retain one sound engineer, one extra DJ and one technical guy..(Depending on scope of works)

•Always consult your client on your playlist and be keen on the lyrics of the song you going to play
