heads, metal heads, goths and general alternative as well as an eclectic line-up of the Kenyan rock bands at a main stage with MASSIVE local headline acts you know and love. We also have an air guitar section with all day side shows for the fans. MORE THAN JUST A MUSIC FESTIVAL - Makelele-Fest is a fully immersive event....with art, workshops, activities and, many, many attractions. Watch the bands; lose yourself in the enchanted (and themed) woodland; camp on site or stay in local accommodation; and with a massive shopping area as well there will always be something amazing for you to see and do at Makelele-Fest! Disclosed Venue's Radius: Our delightful Nairobi city festival site will be less than a 20-30 minutes drive from Nairobi and less than 15 minutes by car from central business district. Fully themed with an alternative scene, all sorts of alternative workshops and activities, along with art and of course lots of varied Alt music....
