Let's be frank WHY H. E PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA SHOULD PRAY/INTERCEDE FOR 50M KENYANS?
This is the beginning of new month, the month of March,we should march to God and our commander is none other than our President.
We ve just finished a tough month of February, it was marred by a lot of bad happening s, it was dark because of the things we witnessed as a nation.
We lost several lives mysteriously, BBI debate sparked tribal animosity, invasion of locusts in several counties, scare of Covid-19 virus,city function s were handed to National government,cancer menace and many other evil acts.
Yesterday as I was reading my Bible, I came across story of King Zedekiah of Judah ,his case was similar scenario like ours. Message came to prophet of God, Jeremiah. That he is going to destroy king and his kingdom and later hand over Judah to King of Babylon(trouble), The Lord himself promised them that he will use his hammer-Babylon to destroy the city,it was out of his anger that he did so.
God had warned kingdom of Judah to repent from sins for many years,he had send many priests, prophets to have people worship him in spirit and truth.At that time people were worshipping idols and honoring pagan deities.Over the course of time God's patience was running out and God exercised judgement against Judah.
King Zedekiah was a stubborn, hard-hearted man, and he wasn’t convinced or convicted by any of God’s warning to repent. He didn't realize what was happening or he didn't care.
The Babylonians(trouble) eventually broke through Jerusalem’s wall and killed many of the people of Judah. They killed the young and old, and they took all of the wealth of Judah.
King Zedekiah was captured by Chaldean's and handed over to King of Babylon.The tied him and instead of killing him,he was made to watch as his sons were killed by Babylonians(trouble).
Mr President, that was happened in Judah ours is coming. Do not turn blind eye to what is happening, Priest s have spoken take keen interest and listen.
WAY FORWARD
Like Moses,lift up the rod and strike Mediterranean sea. Every time children of Israel faced trouble, Moses could turn to God for breakthrough. Don't be deceived by power, friends and your riches, we are almost experiencing what befell Kingdom of Judah.
Before it happens call for one day of National prayer, lead the nation in repenting of our ways and God is going to restore sanity and bless you and the whole nation.
As I conclude, read Jeremiah 32:17,
Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:
Jeremiah 32:27
Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
Psalms 91: 1-3“I will say to the Lord my refuge and my fortress my God in whom I trust He delivers you from the snare of the trappers AND FROM THE DEADLY PESTILENCE!”.
