The 1st annual Cambodia Outstanding Telecom Awards 2017 “Cambodian – CHOICE” presented by International Data Group (IDG ASEAN) is concurrently organized with the 3rd Cambodia 4G LTE international Conference which is co-organized by Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia. The Award aims to seek and honor the mobile operators that have had outstanding performances and contributions to the development of telecommunications sector in particular and of Cambodia economy in general throughout the year.

The Award Ceremony will become a precious destination for mobile operators to look back the achievement made after one year of operation (June 2016 – May 2017)
The targets of this Awards are mobile operators and internet service providers in Cambodia.

IDG ASEAN has conducted the Survey for Customer Satisfactions on telecom operators, 4G services and Internet Service Providers (ISP) in Cambodia from June 2016 to May 2017. In period of studying, IDG ASEAN has sent out 40,000 surveys which has 12,150 successful survey, including 60% online and 40% direct interview. The Questionnaire has more than 8 questions, including 2 clustered questions (including 25 answers). Some specific questions is separated for each field

But that’s not it, the experience is even better if you have the Surface Dial, an interactive remote that can perform multi functions of Surface Studio. What does my iPhone reveal about me?

Certain researches have claimed that the iPhone can actually describe its users.

Firstly, it is estimated that the majority of the iPhoners are college students. The reason to this is because graduated students from college tend to have more earnings to buy an iPhone. But that does not imply that iPhone users are smarter than others.

Dishonest is another characteristic that is expected to have from an iPhone user, according to the society. Less humble, more emotional and overacting are also included. China brings in facial recognition to combat toilet paper stealers.

For the first time ever, facial recognition technology has been established in Beijing to protect the tissue from thieves.

If you’re in china and currently looking for tissue, don’t ever think about grabbing some free ones in public bathrooms. For every 9 minute that you spend in these public restrooms, there will be a facial reconnection device that supervise the distribution. One could only take 2 feet of tissue after the proposed time.

It is estimated that this is one if the fast-rising issues in China recently. Many cases have been reported at the Temple of Heaven. Tourist visitors took an entire tissue roll and put it in their bags. Therefore, it is urgent to have a solution to tackle such situation. A total of six machines has been installed for trial, according to BBC.

However, there are certain questions towards this decision. Some concern about the quality as well as the security of those machines. Additionally, there is also obstacles towards the amount of given tissue. However, the representative of the temple has announced that there will be supporting staff in the restrooms to distribute more papers if he/she strongly needed.

March Madness is announced to be available in VR platform

All the matches in Sweet 16 will be in Virtual Reality platform, but the audiences have to pay for it.

One of the main events of NCAA, March Madness – the college basketball tournament, is coming back with a new season and yet, you can watch it in VR this time. Such cutting-edge effort is created by Intel, TV broadcasters and NCAA

While Microsoft provides Surface tablets for coaching assistants, Intel is placing the emphasis in audience’s experience. True VR and 360 Replay technology will be implemented throughout the matches during the Sweet 16 round. All you need to do is download the NCAA March Madness Live VR app from the oculus store for Samsung Gear VR headset and enjoy.

The top-secret X-37B space plane is about to break another record

It was first an NASA’s space project, but now, it’s the most wanted plane of U.S. Air Force. It’s powered by the Air Force’s Rapid Capabilities Office, has a medium cargo bay and just broke a new record. After 4 missions, X-37B has completed a total of 675-days in space, making it the first plane that has the longest flight outside earth.

Apple’s Clips Apps puts magic on social media lovers’ videos

Having filters, simplicity and diversity. Clips by Apple is a must-install one.

It is obvious that Social media users of Twitter, Facebook or Instagram tends to be more and more interested in sharing moments nowadays, especially the live ones. Indeed, they do not only want to just simply distribute these occasions but also decorate them.

Apple clearly recognizes this and decides to take the opportunity.

Released today, Clips app provides what the audiences are looking for. It enables customers to add music, photos to any video clips and upload them in preferred social networks.

However, it is not the main event, it is the “live tittles” feature that makes you want to go “wow”. By just simply saying what did you feel at the moment you film the video, Clips will automatically capture it and bring in the filters later on.

Electric Eve is a vision of the autonomous car future

Eve, a concept autonomous car, has just been introduced to the market as a demo of its category. As the developer, Nio aims to bring this piece of the future to the top. Side sliding doors coped with silver as the main color gives Eve a “sport car” look. Regarding the mechanic, it can learn about the passengers, carry up to 6 people and perform multiple functions (working, sleeping and communicating). An automatic display is also equipped even when the car is on non- autonomous mode. If you’re bored while driving, a panoramic view of outside is always ready for two front seats.
