After four months of competition, the winners of this year’s Mapping the Mekong Cocktail Competition 2023 were crowned on Saturday night 🔥🏆

Huge congratulations to our winner, Lyheang Heng, who displayed so much passion for his craft and country throughout the competition.

This Saturday, 11th November at Seekers Spirits House, the top 10 bartenders will showcase and compete their mixology skills to become the winner of Mapping the Mekong Seekers Cocktail Competition 2023.

WE ALSO OPEN FOR PUBLIC VOTING:
Each bartender will run their own pop-up bar in the garden at Seekers, where they will make their signature cocktails from the first rounds of the competition like what we are showing below, for the public to taste. These cocktails are some of our finalists' most impressive expressions of mixology. It is a very unique opportunity to try the top cocktails from the competition this year.

ENTRY – Everyone is welcome to come down.
If you want to taste and do the public voting for bartenders:
$10 – free flow tasting of all ten cocktails. price for the general public
$5 – free flow tasting of all ten cocktails. price for the industry (supporting bartenders).
There will be FREE SNACKS from FoodMate Supermarket available during the tasting session.

WE’RE COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS TO THE MAPPING THE MEKONG 2023 COMPETITION FINAL!!

WHO WILL BE THE BEST BARTENDER IN CAMBODIA?

After 4 intense semi-finals, 10 of the top bartenders in the country have made it through to the finals. The ultimate challenge will be held at Seekers Spirit House on Saturday 11th November and will include a PUBLIC VOTING session. 🔥📝
This is a rare opportunity to come along and participate in a competition of this kind. Join us and taste the finalists’ signature cocktails and vote for who you think should be crowed the best bartender in Cambodia.

FINALS agenda:

🍸 12:00PM – 12:30PM Bartenders arrive at Seekers
🍸 12:30PM – 2:00PM Mystery box challenge
Bartenders will be shown a collection of ingredients and given 1.5 hours to come up with a cocktail inspired by the Mekong.
🍸 2:00PM – 4:30PM Judging panel for the mystery box challenge.
Bartenders will present the cocktail to the judges. They will be scored across a number of areas, including creativity, inspiration, technique, flavor, balance, and visual; as well as overall bartending skills and guest engagement.
🍸🔥 5:00PM – 8:00PM PUBLIC VOTING
Each bartender will run their own pop-up bar in the garden at Seekers, where they will make their signature cocktails from the first rounds of the competition, for the public to taste. These cocktails are some of the most impressive expressions of mixology from our finalists. It is a unique opportunity to try the top cocktails from the competition this year.
