We want to say...
THANK YOU!
💜💚
Sorry, but this has to be a long one 😅
After some well needed days of rest, Svay Chanti Collective would like to take the time to show our gratitude to the people that made this event one to remember.
From the planning, organising, designing and construction efforts that enabled the festival to take shape - to the musicians, performers, workshop hosts and vendors whose lights shone bright.
Special mentions go to:
Finn for project managing and organising so many facets of the event, in a calm, seamless and crazily impressive way.
Mickey for the incredible amount of brain hours and physical effort that she put in yet again! She's a real machine and a main driving force behind the project.
Jimmy enabled the festival to look as impressive as it did. After his efforts in building and designing, he put on a beautiful visual projection performance. His talent knows no limits.
Stef (our favourite Bavarian bear!) once again showed off his carpentry and chainsaw skills.
Ben with his infectious commitment and dedication completed our talented construction trio that worked together to create something that we are all incredibly proud of.
Power, lighting, sound (and some delightful tunes) were handled by Nick, someone who you just know will do his job and do it well. Nick's dad Jim joined us for a few days and was kind enough to show some of the others what hard work really looks like!
Sound and stage management was also being taken care of by our DJ coordinator (and music's jockey) Danny, as well as our live music coordinator and insatiable performer Ant.
The decor team was coordinated by Ayla to create a specific, quirky theme, that allowed us to lose ourselves in the beauty of the festival setting.
Dave ran a tight ship at the bar for the second year (besides his other responsibilities) with help from Marek, Issy, Iain, Flick, Ellinor, as well as Ed and Will, who were kind enough to let us host the festival on the beautiful land they share with Angie and Nick.
Yoshi arranged a great selection of workshop hosts, as well as ensuring we live up to our commitment of striving to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
Elisa was everywhere, helping wherever she could, with whatever she could, during a very busy time for her.
Thanks go to Connor and Smashed Burger who kept people fed with (we're telling you here...) the best burgers in Cambodia!
Artwork, flyers and logo designs once more were created by Pauline, who has the ability to turn a description of an idea, into a visual representation that goes above anything we ever expect.
Derek has cemented himself as our go-to guy for first aid - a hugely important job and we're happy that we can feel safer with him around.
Sassa provided a template for the games which Nicole and Leifur hosted brilliantly.
Thanks to the music givers - Danny, Nick, Keimo, Wictor, M***a, Andre, Brook, Jules, Ant, Leifur, Max. You guys were a delight.
Thanks to the workshop hosts - Nic, Jenn, Alix, Elora, Yoshi, Jules. It was so nice to have you here sharing your passions.
Thanks Jen for your commitment and support. Thanks Elsa and Sandra for the fire show. Thanks Ro and Jarrod for the campsite. Thanks Oskar for flyering. Thanks Jenna for painting the logo. Thanks Matt for the first aid. Thanks Sonja for the ice tea. Thanks Mark for the toasties. Thanks Allison and Adam for the signs. Thanks Sina for feeding our people. Thanks Max for the photos. Thanks Petra for the videos. Thanks Elvira for the advice.
Thanks to ALL the staff, volunteers, business owners and villagers who used their time and energy to provide a special occasion for everyone.
We owe so much to so many people that it's REALLY difficult to name all of you, but you know who you are.
But specifically thanks to all of the guests who came and enjoyed themselves. We hope you could take pleasure in visiting this beautiful area of Cambodia, our village, and this project.
Many thanks from Svay Chanti Collective 💜💚
We Got This ✌️
