Phase 3: As a Christian Entrepreneur, I strive to align my motives with God's will and plan for my life and also through this business He has blessed me with. This year it was impressed upon me to give back into the community in a special way through our Mother’s Day Promotion 2023.

Growing up in a single parent house hold with 4 other siblings was not always easy and being the 1st born, I experienced first hand how difficult it was for my mom. Because of this, one of the main aims for being a business owner will always be to find ways to assist and support single parent households on the island and this year I was able to accomplish such! This experience has been a truly humbling one.

In collaboration with business mogul, The Cable St. Kitts, 4 single parent mothers on the island were able to benefit from our joint initiative. These parents were hand picked for being actively involved in their child's/children's holistic development by teachers of the schools their children attended. 2 mothers were selected from the Beach Allen Primary and the Bronte Welsh Primary Schools.

Presentations were done at the schools on the 16th and 17th May, respectively. A sum of $125.00 cash was given to each of mothers from Delightful Desires & Décor and 3 months free internet from The Cable St.Kitts, to help assist with their children's continued educational experience from home.

I give tremendous gratitude to Ms. Pat Walter's, C.E.O of The Cable St.Kitts, and staff for partnering with Delightful Desires & Décor on this charitable campaign. Your generosity has been greatly appreciated and I look forward to supporting you in your future campaigns.
