Korean Peninsula has gone through a lot historically. When there were 4 different countries in the peninsula, they formed the foundation of today's South Korea. Among those 4, Baekje Dynasty was especially well-known for its exquisite architectural skills, delicate arts and a highly advanced culture.

Til the day the kingdom collapsed by neighbor countries in 660 A.D, Baekje built and left so many treasures in their second capital, Buyeo City located in Chungcheongnam-do.

Baekje Cultural Land, Asia's biggest history theme park, has 3,299 thousand square meters of scale and offers the exact, realistic re-creations of the dynasty, ranging from palaces, temples to local villages.

Don't forget to visit the breathtakingly picturesque Gungnamji Pond. The pond is the first artificial pond of Korean history and boasts the most beautiful scenery, even though there's only third of the original size left today.

Jamsil, located in the south-east part of Seoul City, is a whole package of entertainment, attractions, food and history.

Enjoy your shopping super efficiently in the massive Lotte World Mall that offers literally everything you're looking for, including shops, food courts, world-class aquarium and the biggest movie theater in Asia.

Lotte World is the biggest indoor amusement park in the world and is one of the most popular theme parks in the country. Located right in front of the park is an artificial lake called Seokchon Lake. The lake is especially beautiful around the spring season for its abundance of cherry blossoms and also for its on-the-water artworks.

There's Olympic Park built for the 88's Seoul Olympics in a walking distance from the complex. Mongchontoseong Fortress within the park is a historic heritage of Hanseong Baekje Dynasty in the 2nd - 3rd century.

Dongdaemun area is one of the most developed parts in Seoul City.

Dongdaemun, meaning " Big East Gate" in English, is Treasure No.1 of South Korea. The term Dongdaemun is commonly used to refer to the surrounding area.

Samcheok City, located in the far south side of Gangwon Province, is a hidden gem of South Korean tourism. This chill, small city is full of charm and fun.

Boryeong City located in the coastal area of Southwest Chungcheongnam-do is usually pretty peaceful with ports and mountains, but turns into world's most festive area in summer.

Boryeong Mud Festival attracted appoximately 329 million visitors (280,000 foreign tourists included) in the 17th festival held in 2014 only.
