Driven by her love for fashion and an eye for simplistic beauty, Rita Asmar began her career over 25 years ago by sketching dresses that she dreamt of wearing as a teenager. Having worked in various fashion houses and deepened her education in Haute Couture Rita launched her fashion house “Laura Haute Couture” in 1999, named after her first-born daughter. Rita began tailoring custom designed wedd
ing dresses and evening gowns with an emphasis on bringing out a woman’s most flattering features. Using only the highest quality dress fabrics, especially lace and silks, Rita Asmar’s passion and attention to detail is clearly embodied in her creations. She is recognized for combining simple chic with intricate embroidered or beaded patterns in her made to measure bridal and evening wear collections. Her talent, ambition and experience have given Rita the ability to make a woman feel both confident and sensual when wearing her captivating designs.
