Blinchiki: thin Russian crêpes stuffed with meat or chicken filling - fried on both sides for a crispy crunch. Served with Smetana.

Cooked a big batch last week when my Russian godmother was visiting us from Moscow. An intensive cooking session that was packed with fun, information and love. We prepared another dish too; I will share soon.

New avocado experiment turned out really good 👍🏻

A quick salad of: avocados (obviously), tomatoes, chickpeas, spring onion, crushed garlic, and hints of: dried coriander, cumin & black pepper. The dressing is lemon/oil.

Next time I might try adding bellpeppers. Will see...
