Roland Ragi is a photographer, DJ, crate digger, and vinyl collector extraordinaire.

He founded Back From the Crate in 2021 to showcase and celebrate his vast record collection. It quickly grew into a small collective that hosts talks, pop-up record stores, and groovy parties, as well as a repository of both obscure and staple records from the region’s rich history and beyond.

August the 4th changed our lives forever. We stand in solidarity with all those who lost loved ones, their homes, hopes and dreams, with those left with life changing disabilities or dealing with unimaginable trauma , loss and grief. Four years has passed but we will never forget. Today, we are still here in our venue, standing strong and rebuilding a place of joy and togetherness through music, culture and community.We will not rest until there is accountability and justice for the victims, until we are free from the continued cycles of injustice, oppression and corruption. It is a coalition that relies on grassroots and participatory work, practicing transparency in all its procedures, and operates entirely voluntarily.
