صدر عن مؤسسي جائزة "موركس دور" الطبيبين زاهي وفادي الحلو البيان الآتي:

"بعد الظروف الآليمة المتتالية التي ألمت بوطننا لبنان والتي تمثلت بالاعتداءات الغاشمة على بلدنا الحبيب والتي أودت بحياة العديد من القتلى والجرحى، وتضامناً مع أشقائنا في الوطن، قررت لجنة "الموركس دور" إرجاء الحفل الذي كان مقرراً أن يقام مساء الأحد 22 أيلول الجاري إلى موعد يحدد لاحقاً تبعاً للظروف.
علماً أن حفل "موركس دور" في دورته الرابعة والعشرين كان سيخصص للبنان كالعادة تحت شعار "اشفِ جراح العالم بالفن والموسيقى... Heal the World with Art & Music" كلفتة تضامنية من عدد كبير من الفنانين اللبنانيين والعرب والعالميين.
سيبقى "موركس دور"واجهة الابداع والثقافة والفن على أمل عودة الحياة الطبيعية الى لبنان.
وإذ تتقدم اللجنة بأحرّ التعازي من أهالي الشهداء وتتمنى للجرحى الشفاء العاجل، مع الأمل أن ينجي الله لبنان من أي مصيبة جديدة."

تحية قلبيّة صارخة من جمعيّة سطوح بيروت إلى جنوب لبنان الحبيب ومبادرة تضامن وطنيّة مع أهله وأبنائه.

حفل غنائي بقيادة المايسترو إيلي العليا تعزف فيه فرقته الموسيقية باقة من أجمل الأغاني اللبنانية الوطنيّة ينشدها الكورس ويشارك فيها الجمهور ليحيّي جنوبنا غناءً وتفاعلًا.

يُرافق الحفل عَرضٌ لأبرز أعمال طلّاب الجامعة اللبنانية وأساتذتها في كليّة الفنون الجميلة والعمارة والّتي تتمحور حول الوطن عمومًا والجنوب اللّبناني خصوصًا. كما ويُعرض جزء من هذه الأعمال على أبواب مسرح كازينو لبنان.

يعود ريع هذا الحفل لدعم نشاط جمعيّة سطوح بيروت في بَلدات جنوب لبنان الحدوديّة.
