Baalbakiyat is an annual event, a musical show performed live on stage, reproducing the Citadel of the City of the Sun, Baalbek, and showing the history of each temple accompanied by specific songs played by international musicians.
The objective of Baalbakiyat is to provide all spectators with an experience of cultural and artistic claim for the city of civilizations and empires to help it out of darkness and find back the sunlight.
In addition, Baalbakiyat encourages young Lebanese artists and is dedicated in each season to support a particular humanitarian mission and/or aid program.
