Our cake and dessert menus have a variety of sweet treats to satisfy any sugar craving. Salt refers to our canapes and savoury dishes which are perfect for parties or simply as something special for your dinner table. Sprinkles signifies the decorative elements and hand crafted artwork which adorn our artisan cakes. Everything we offer is lovingly created in our home kitchen with immaculate attent
ion to detail, fresh ingredients and bold flavours to ensure a remarkable dining experience. Flavour is of vital importance to us, as we believe that tasty food is the only kind you should indulge in. We draw from family favourites and the recipes and techniques we use have been handed down through generations. Our menu is continually evolving as we try to introduce new items and improve our existing dishes. Thus, we are more than happy to accommodate suggestions (within reason) and create dishes for a tailor made dining experience. We are passionate about food and feeding people, and we love when people enjoy our food. We require a minimum of three days’ notice, as we source our ingredients based on each individual order. For personalized theme cakes, we would like at least five days’ notice as all decorative items are individually created by hand.

Introducing our Berry Lime sheet cake.
We’re all about crowd pleasers, and this one has got it all! Light but delicious, sweet and tart, easy to portion, cut and serve, and definitely pretty!
Buttery soft vanilla cake, drizzled in citrus berry syrup and and topped with our berry lime buttercream. Absolutely delicious!

Cake for a crowd? Chocolate or vanilla, our cake slabs got you covered! These 2 layer buttercream based rectangular cakes are so easy to cut and serve. They are perfect for school or office treats. We can also customize them too, in your favourite colours and designs.
Our medium 12” x 8” (weighing 2kg+) cake serves approximately 20-30.

“Roar” 🦕🦖
Our dino-mite dark chocolate cake with semi sweet chocolate buttercream, a calculated departure from our usual super dark fudge buttercream.
Loved using fondant details and fresh foliage on this one. And yes, those cake crumbs show you just how dark our chocolate cakes really are.

The healthiest birthday cake we’ve made!
A naturally sweetened date cake with zero sugar, zero white flour and no added sweeteners or syrups. Only whole, natural ingredients!
Topped with date butter frosting, again with zero sugar or artificial sweeteners, this cake is truly a healthy treat.

“Peppa Pig” themed cake for an extra special little birthday girl. 💕
We took the direction “do anything you like” to heart with this one! This three layer pink, yellow and blue ribbon cake is topped with pastel watercolor buttercream, a hand painted Peppa and homemade meringue kisses.

We undertake only a select number of savoury orders, as we put a lot of heart, soul and flavour into everything we make. Finger food is time consuming, more so as we insist that everything is really tasty, with plenty of butter, fresh herbs and cheese! 😋
Please note: We do NOT undertake orders for classic party food like cutlets, patties, rolls etc. but if you’re looking to curate a creative finger-food menu, please do get in touch.

Our glorious CBP, made extra special with dark chocolate chips and roasted cashews!
We like our CBP on the dark bitter sweet side, so its got a lusciously dark chocolate cream filling! Let us know how you’d like to customize your CBP, we have a range of options available.
As part of our low waste journey we encourage clients to bring us their dishes, or we use our own (to be returned after use).
CBP isn’t naturally photogenic and despite being a dessert we make very often it’s been a while since we posted a photo.

Fruity pavs flying out the door this week!
These pavlovas consist of freshly baked marshmallowy meringue topped with our signature creme diplomat, juicy chunks of peach, fresh strawberries and organic sprigs of mint straight from our garden.
We also provide a container of zesty passionfruit syrup to drizzle over just before serving, for utter sweet and tart perfection!

We tried to use as little fondant as possible, so the cake is 90% buttercream with tiny fondant details.

Our Coffee Nut Crunch cake got a pretty purple makeover!
We try not to compromise on taste, so we loaded the middle of this cake with a trio of nuts.
This is not your average coffee cake, as it’s drizzled with espresso, and filled with creamy cappuccino buttercream and the roasted cashews, peanut praline and burnt slivered almonds. Coffee- nut crunch, indeed!

💙💚 Classic ribbon cake for an office treat! This 2kg+ cake cuts 40 pieces, and can be customized with any colour combo, filling or flavour.
Our cakes are always made to order, and made from scratch, baked fresh less than 24 hours prior to pick up! We require a minimum 3 days notice though, as we only take a limited number of orders per day as we need to schedule our baking midst the power cuts.

Getting back to regular posting, with this sneak peek of a very special cake we made back in December.
Although we’ve been quiet on this space, we’ve been baking and cooking up a storm over the season. Looking forward to adding some sugar, salt and sprinkles joy to your feed (and life) this January!
Please do reach out to place those pre orders, as early as possible. We undertake only a limited number of orders each week, and hate to disappoint.

We’ve been a bit quiet on here, but still baking and cooking too. Lately, we’ve started adding the “salt” back in to Sugar Salt and Sprinkles with a few savoury meals.
Featured here:
- Honey soy chicken & Loaded veggie mash
- Yellow rice, tinned mackerel curry, curried lentils, tempered potato (aka thel dhala) and homegrown curry leaf sambol
- Baked chicken with tomato herb sauce
The menus were especially created according to client specifications. However, we’re still maneuvering the ever-changing cost of ingredients, so no finalized menu yet.
