Namal Pokuna Raja Maha Temple

This has located in Dimbulagala Division in Polonnaruwa. It has many Archaeological memories as a Temple. The King Wickramabahu and Parakramabahu the Great Kings have ruled this era in Sri Lanka. And some of Caverns and ponds there in that place.

Somawathi National Park
This park has located around Somawathi Stupa. Any time Elephants are moving here and there. Around 75 Elephants you can see at that place. You have to reach via welikanda somawathi Road also. One more chance you have at that place to prepare meal and enjoy near the river and the jungle.

Inland Fishery - Periyaru (Big River)
This is Sangabodhigama. Located in Lankapura Division. It has a fantastic scenery with elephant. Livelihood of villages in this area is fishery. This village easily can reach via Somawathiya Road . You have to go to the BOP 400 Junction and turn to Right and go toward around 5 kms. You have to get a nice experience after going to Periaru.
