Baking & decorating has always being a thrilling and satisfying experience for me since my teenage years. It was then that my thoughts were drooling over "The Cake Shop" and finally in 2011, my dreams came true after the perfect meet up with my soul mate, Darshana. Together we were able to build up and bond our world, to make "The Cake Shop" the best in Kandy and for it to be the most prominent & pioneering names in the wedding cake industry in Kandy within a very short period of time.
We make our cakes with utmost love & care, using locally & internationally recognized top quality ingredients to ensure the highest quality standards. An individual work of art, whether its romantic, classical, elegant or whimsical, the Cake is guaranteed to enjoy its pride of place as the centerpiece to any gathering. These edible & nonedible handmade creations come alive at our workshop in Haragama, Kandy; while you can witness our leading bespoke & contemporary cake designs at our showroom in Peradeniya Road, Kandy.
