The People's Bank cleans the Kalutara South seashore as part of its social care mission.

In conjunction with the promotion of the People's Bank's YES Digital Green Savings Account, the Kalutara district organized a clean-up of the Kalutara South Beach under the 'Public Mission' social care program series last Sunday.

In particular, a tree planting program was implemented in the municipal garden area and a coconut tree planting program was implemented on the beach.

With the support of the Kalutara Municipality, a bicycle and vehicle ride was also organized along with this program.

Deputy General Manager of People's Bank, Ms. Nilmini Premalal (Process Management and Quality Assurance), Assistant General Manager, Mr. Naleen Pathiranage (Personal Banking Department), Kalutara Regional Manager, Ms. Monica Suriyapperuma, Assistant Regional Managers, Kalutara, Wadduwa and Panadura Town Managers, Regional Business Promotion Officer, Branch Business Promotion Officers and other staff, other employees, Secretary of Kalutara City Council Mrs. R. Mrs. L. Ranasinghe and other members of the municipal cleaning department also joined for this.

As a responsible financial institution, this program was launched by combining banking and environmental sustainability, and under this, the People's Bank has implemented beach cleaning programs and tree planting programs on the coasts of the island.
