This head table really felt like it was set for royalty at a medieval banquet

This head table really felt like it was set for royalty at a medieval banquet
From a pristinely beautiful white church ceremony to the most romantic , colourful and enchanting garden Poruwa . The epitome of a midsummer night’s dream !
We often chose to use white at any form of ceremony , but for this happy couple we who were to be wed in two faiths, we knew we had to make the exception in order to keep the evening enchanting yet elegant . A late evening Poruwa meant we were able to throw in some light to make things all the more romantic
There really is something special about walking in to a church filled with white flowers . It’s pristine , elegant and classic : much like our beautiful bride .f
Breaking away from the traditional entrance arch and keeping in line with our terracotta theme , we used the prettiest roses and gladioli to fill up these classic earthen pots while large balls of moss and delicate ferns helped set the mood.
What is a mid summers night celebration without the most classic & generous cake topped with all the summer berries you can think of . If the ambiance that night didn’t put you in the mood , an indulgent bite of this scrumptious beautify most certainly would have !
When choosing a theme and colour pallet for your wedding , don’t ever get tied down with the need to match everything identically - fabrics , paper and flowers all speak their own language and may not be saying the same thing if they were all the same colour
The key is to pick shades that will work together in cohesion with all the elements involved and finally elevate an event once it is all brought together.
See how this bride tribe brought out the more delicate details of our earthy , summery theme.
Wedding stationary plays such an integral part in helping us build a story and maintain continuity in our concepts & themes . We truly enjoy bringing stationary to life. Choosing Terracotta as our main player for this event meant we needed our moodboard to be floral yet less feminine , colourful yet subtle so we we sure swasha was happy .
Together with we created the aptly delicate subtly colourful invitation that true to its work was the perfect teaser for what the evening was going to be
Also cannot get over how beautifully this suite was styled by 💕
Dear Bride
Your choices are endless , the dearth of to do lists keep piling on , but know that we are here to ease that burden as you go along . .f , made the most radiant bride ! Knowing her since she was a little girl , made ex*****on and delivery of her big day all the more special ; when it came to her wedding she really was torn between sticking to the safe pallets of subtle pinks and beiges . But in her heart of hearts she always wanted a pop of colour .
We worked hard to find a good fit between subtle yet bold and cheerful , knowing very well we could only convince her if it ticked all her boxes
Earthy tones of terracotta , soft pinks , mustard and greens seemed like a happy balance - my instant connection was a midsummer nights dream! Watch as we showcase how this special day unfolded.
That Fine Feast for your nearest and dearest on your wedding day !

Adding different dimensions and textures to our table scapes makes our work a lot more interesting ! Fruit has always been a tempting option (pun intended). Particularly because it signifies prosperity and abundance .
Sam and Arjun’s dinner reception really set the tone for an elegant and stylish Victorian banquet ! What a feast it was indeed .
Wishing everyone a peaceful Sinhala & Tamil New Year.
We are on the look out for young energetic and committed individuals to join our team .
Sangeet celebrations in style !
They will hold up a shade , smile when you smile and and gather around you to celebrate in style !
Mehendi Celebrations in style !
What’s a celebration without your besties by your side
Adding colour and fun to the usually relaxing poolside and lounges for welcome cocktails and sangeet celebrations .
Sam & Arjun’s wedding ceremony was really the height of all the celebrations. We loved recreating a serene temple space out of the iconic spa room at the Amangalla .
Drapes of jasmine and rose garlands and Hand block printed saris etched with Sanskrit blessings hung on each side , inset with an antique Ganesha at the end of the hall truly added to the divinity of the space.
it really was the most serene setting for a very special Union .
adorned with wine red florals and an inset of a thick ivy hedge this structure beautifully framed the couple as they took their vows
Lucky are the brides that get to dress up many times in many ways :
A Sangeet Celebration in the middle of a Dutch fort within a colonial mansion - The epitome of diversity.
We love how Arjun and Samantha’s wedding was a union of many beautiful colours and cultures . What a perfect venue to choose to ensure you hold on to the old world charm and yet appreciate everything modern about such a special occasion.
Waiting for the time we could get back to planning the most intimate and colourful destination weddings .
Taking you back to one of our most favorite locations in the Galle Fort: The Amangalla
How we enjoyed putting this event together for Arjun and Samantha.
When the real star of the show steals everyone’s heart away.
We knew Timmy was really the only VIP when the all the groomsmen walked out perfectly colour coordinated!
Taking risks with the weather has always been a point of contention. Weren’t we glad we made the right call . This beautiful fabric canopy really complimented the garden brunch we set up for our lucky couple. Soft flowing drapes and subtle dapple light along with the cool cool breeze really added to the experience.
A simple poruwa brunch calls for some rustic and classic textures such as linens and beeralu lace to set that subtle, traditional tone.

When the details make all the difference !
The perfect morning dawned on us as the mist slowly rose, unveiling this beautiful colonial building setting the perfect backdrop for this intimate garden brunch.
Somewhere in the middle of the pandemic and all the chaos, April 2021 gave us a glimmer of hope; a window of opportunity and we cautiously welcomed the rays of sunlight that were shed on this lucky couple who waited to celebrate oh so patiently.
A perfect Hill country celebration; an intimate gathering of friends and family in honour of this special couple who’s love stood the test of time.
A twist to the traditional poruwa ceremony: called an Ashirwada Puja – a Blessing for the couple that were already officially wed.

A magical candlelit night, slowly came alive behind the subtle sheer curtains. The guests mingled completely unawares, only seeing a misty haze of light through the sheer. As the time got nearer, the music began to play .. the curtain slowly unveiled the magic awaiting its guests Thank you Savindi and Ruwindu for trusting us with doing something never done before . . .
