orm of Bharatanatyam is most welcome to join in at the JITHYA School of Dance. Jithya Soysa, the founder of the JITHYA School of Dance was a student of Visakha Vidyalaya and started her Bharatantyam journey at the tender age of five under the guidance of Late Mrs. She completed her Arangetram under the guidance of Mrs. Priyadarshini Bandara in year 2002. Jithya is also a Visaradha in Kathak Dance and can be named a connoisseur in the dance forms of Bharatanatyam as well as kathak. Since her professional accomplishments in the dance arena, she has been performing and judging at various events. With many years of dancing experience under her belt she is a passionate young teacher willing to impart her knowledge to dance enthusiasts out there. Presently she is conducting classes in Ratmalana for all ages. Jithya also completed her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and completed her Postgraduate Degree in International Business from Monash Australia.
