We are honoured to introduce Lerato Maphathe: Chef Somla, a producer whose dedication to dance music and the Propaganda movement is nothing short of inspirational. A couple of months ago, The Chef released a track named 'Propaganda Fiesta', a deep house anthem that embodies the energy and spirit of our movement.

The track itself is an unconventional blend of deep house, with a unique 3-step beat and chaotic composition. The title, 'Propaganda Fiesta', is not only a nod to our collective but also a reflection of Somla's own interpretation of the movement.
"The track was inspired by the first Nightclub day event and the groovy vibes I felt there.
The track original concept was based on appreciation and gratitude for such a great platform for many artists in the house music industry, especially in terms of events, music distribution services, and more."_Chef Somla

In the track Somla's production style is raw, yet filled with a sense of urgency that's befitting of the Propaganda movement. The track's melodic sequences and driving bass lines draw the listener in, while the arrangement is rather smooth. Chef Somla's unorthodox approach of both deep house and unconventional elements creates a sound that's uniquely his own, and promises to appeal to the most discerning of dance music fans.

Our?
1. Blessed to incubate Kairo, and man is she coming in hot. She debuted on Sublime Radio this past Friday
2. Blessed to have immaculate talent: King Wadada of grooves in our stable
3. Just Slick who now goes by slkstr: the biggest Amapiano producer in the country(cc: spotify) moves with us
4. Da Lee LS: the afro tech guru leads our pack in breaking boundaries internationally
5. Benito M: the most featured dance music produces houses under our stable

There's obviously boundless room for improvement, and we're tirelessly working to become a force in our dance music scene hence we're open to collaborating with like-minded people of different skillsets outside of production, but we'd be fools to downplay our very little impact.
