The light falls golden through the rain,
A warmth that cuts through all the cold.
Tears trace our faces, soft with pain,
Yet in my arms, I gently hold
This fragile life, so full of fear,
His wide eyes search the world unknown.
I feel the weight, yet still Iâm here,
Protecting him, though all is torn.
The rainâs a song, a lullaby,
Each drop a whisper on our skin.
The world grows dark, yet still we try
To find the light that lives within.
His tiny hands, they grasp so tight,
His eyes, they mirror all my fears.
Yet in the warmth of softest light,
I hide my doubts, dissolve my tears.
Around us shines the fading day,
As shadows creep, the world unknown.
But in his gaze, I find my way,
For in his heart, Iâm not alone.
Through rain and sorrow, through the night,
I hold him close, my shining light.
