Tradition is good, that’s why yesterday we decided to continue one we established last year - of sending greetings to our team member Aleksandra Line, who couldn’t be with us on that day, because someone had to represent Latvian jazz at the jazzahead!😃
So, once again, happy International Jazz Day, thank you all for being with us at M/Darbnīca, see you next year!

30. aprīlī mūziķi no visas pasaules svin starptautisko džeza dienu. Par godu tam arī Jazz Valhalla uzstāsies starptautisks džeza kvintets ar mūziķiem no ASV, Austrijas un Latvijas. Šoreiz atkāpe no ierastās kārtības - koncerts SVĒTDIENĀ, nevis pirmdienā, bet nākamajā dienā baudīsim 1. maija brīvdienu.

Celebrating the International Jazz Day Latvia with three amazing appearances! 🌟
I’ll start the evening at at 19:00 in a concert of songs that maestro wrote for this theatre 🌟 Then, at the speed of light (with the help of a taxi) I’ll fly to my most favorite place in Riga, , to perform with amazing Artis Orubs and Artjoms Sarvi at 21:00; after that we’ll all have a nice, huge jam session! 🌟
And if you want to stay in but still want to enjoy some jazz, turn on at 21:05 to hear a preview of an album we recorded with - «Tales of that old familiar feeling»! ❤️ Happy International Jazz Day! 🎉🎉🎉
