These babies are utterly gorgeous and last two weeks in the vase, if not more.
I've just put in my order for next year, I need more of these beauties on my flower farm! You have to plan ahead to get the cream of the crop. See what I did there🤭😁.

The flowers are starting to slow down and are showing signs of wanting to sleep.
It's not time for me to take it easy yet with spring seedlings needing to be planted and more still to be sown.
Tired crops are being pulled out, and compost added in.
Specialty anemones are sprouting in the shed, and the freesias and ornithogalum are waiting their turn.
The first erlicheers are already poking through the surface, which is weirding me out.
As much as I love summer flowers, there I'd something magical about spring florals. I'm excited to be growing thousands of Italian ranunculus this year and I look forward to sharing them with you.
Crushin on this gorgeous celosia, upping my number of plants for this coming season. We all need more of this!

Home sweet home! My family have been enjoying the slow pace of camping for the last 9 days, and it's been FABULOUS. Even so, coming home to my flowers was a thrill!
We pulled in the drive, I opened my door and ran to my flower bed. I'm so relieved to see it standing after the horrific winds on the weekend.

👨👩👦 I am blessed to be married to my incredible husband Gehard and mum to our three amazing boys who I also have the privilage of homeschooling. Ages 10-16.
🙏 I'm always on the journey of drawing closer to our Heavenly Father and learning how to love people in the way that He loves us and walking this out in my life.
🤮 Dislikes: doing housework and also having a messy house. 😜
🫣 Confession time: I used to scoff at growing anything you couldn't eat. Flowers? No way! Waste of space, I thought, happily vocalising these thoughts to my friends and family, not knowing that I was obliviously giving them license to tease me in the years to come.
But my journey into organic gardening taught me about balance and attracting essential bugs to protect the garden. Simply put, flowers attract many important bugs that you want to have in your garden to eat destructive bugs. Once I sacrificed some precious garden space in order to plant a few flowers for this purpose, I discovered that I enjoyed having flowers in my garden, and as they say, the rest is history.

My Nana is 97 years old, still lives independently and cooks dinner. She's awesome. Sadly, she can't garden anymore and has been handing plants and bulbs off to me. Last season, it was a bucket of calla lillies. I planted them not knowig what colour range to expect and the first flower has appeared! Quite neat.
I love when hubbys know their wives favorite colour 😍. Lucky I had a few things in the right colour range.
