For those who knows Max Mantovani of Monte Carlo, DJ to the Stars, he has
played an important role there in the region for the last twenty years in
this leading luxurious tourist resort and a very famous celebrity Guest DJ
known to all in the Principality. From when he was just 18 years old back in Varese, Italy, he started out
as an eager Radio presenter working his way between 4 stations before
he
settled in the most important one of all. His first gig was in Rimini, the
party capital of the world at the time, playing just slow music when the
Main DJ took a break from the dance-floor which gave Max his first
experience with the vinyls. From slow music, he became more adventurous moving to mixing in disco and
other catchy fast dance tunes that caught the attention of all the people. Then for a short period Max was also a Professional Basketball player
starting at the age of 9 years old till 25 years old and
it was during this career that he started to come across and befriend many
celebrities, models and those mixed in the limelight of Sport,
Fashion world as well as the Clubbing world and started to hang out with
the popular Max. In 83/84 he started to work and assist many famous Milan Fashion Week
showcasing fashion designers and continued to work as an Anchorman with
an Italian Channel. That period he was busy with work in Italy and projects in his home town
Varese in Northern Italy. As a Basketball player in 1985, he was travelling constantly around Italy
and Switzerland and in one particular occasion he befriended his Majesty
Prince Albert, reigning Mnarch of the Principality of Monaco during a
Golf Tournament in Villa d'Este Lake Como with his friend Alberto Tomba,
the most important winner of Skiing in the world. They all celebrated together there where Max organised a party. His Majesty Prince Albert mentioned he should go to Monte Carlo to play in
the
nightclubs and so after working non stop for up to 7 months, Max took a
trip to Monte Carlo to relax and have fun at Jimmy'z nightclub. That night at Jimmy'z he took over the decks and the manager took a liking
to him and asked him to return soon. So he returned to play at Jimmy'z after 4 days and enjoyed it so much he
stayed 17 years later where he took residency and also organised and
played at worldwide private parties for the wealthy and A-List
celebrities. As well as remaining at Jimmy'z for a long period of time and becoming the
DJ to the Stars, Max was responsible for the following:
1996: Director of Paradise, now Monte Carlo Bay Hotel and directors of
other popular clubs in Italy.
1997: San Remo music festival conducting many interviews with singers
within his team of up to 7 people interviewing guest stars for the Radio.
1998: manager of Jimmy's up to 2004.
2000, created the 1st ever fashion TV party and concept with Michel Adam,
Founder and Owner of Fashion TV in Jimmyz and then took the concept and
party around the world as their resident DJ. He also implemented the
fashion TV concept on Cable TV in Monte Carlo. Also brought Crazy Horse from Paris to Monte Carlo at Jimmy's with the
famous Caberet and Music concept. In 2005 I left Jimmy'z and opened Fashion TV in Monte Carlo. Then I took a
break and played for private parties and celebrity parties
2009 - Organised parties and became the Manager of Billionaire in Porto
Cervo for 1 year and organising private parties in Monte Carlo. In this present day, Max now focuses on his company MMMP - Max Mantovani
Monaco Production and working on musical scores and projects with clients
on large scale music projects and providing bookings and music/artistic
concept for shows and events. He manages people and liaises on clients
behalf for celebrities and VIP's. He still continues as a Celebrity guest DJ for private parties to this day
and at the same time DJ'ing for Fashion TV at their parties across the
world. With a busy season ahead and bookings in place for Cannes Film
festival, Monaco Grand Prix and other seasonal work that brings him to the
most glamorous holiday destinations in the world, Max will continue to
bring his X Factor to the dance-floor that has won him fans from all over
