Celebrate Labor Day with a healthy meal to enjoy with friends, family, and coworkers alike!
Try out this amazingly delicious recipe for Chickpea Sliders 🍔
Ingredients:
• 2 cans (15 ½ ounces each) garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 green onions, finely chopped (about ½ cup)
• 1 large carrot, shredded (about 1 cup)
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• ⅓ cup whole wheat flour (or garbanzo bean flour)
• Mini whole grain hamburger buns, toasted
Toppings:

Directions:
1. Puree the beans and oil until smooth using a food processor or hand blender.
2. Mix in the onions, carrots, salt, and pepper.
3. Add flour into the mixture until it comes together.
4. Divide mixture to form 12 mini patties.
5. Cook for about 4 minutes on a skillet or grill until brown on both sides.
6. Assemble the burger on a bun and top with avocado, tomato, and BBQ sauce.
7. Serve and enjoy with everybody!
