Food & Beverage Server

Requirements
• At least 1 or more years of previous catering experience.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders: presenting menus, answering questions, and offering suggestions, guiding patrons through the restaurant concept and offerings, and taking down their chosen orders. Explaining menu items, assisting patrons with special dietary needs and recommending menu items that the restaurant would like to sell more of (up-selling).
• Preparing and refreshing tables: preparing tables for service and setting up tableware according to standards including linen, silverware, glassware. Clearing and resetting of tables.
• Processing payments: ensuring patrons receive their bills in a timely manner and that all orders are properly listed and priced.

Hammett's Maċina Restaurant opened its doors in early 2018 in the historic Macina walls, which were built nearly half a millennium ago by the knights of Saint John. You will find the history in the building, but also in the dishes. These are a modern take on traditional Mediterranean culinary influences that date back to the Phoenician times and were awarded a Michelin plate twice already.
