We're on the lookout for a to join our team ✈🤩

Our chosen candidate will be a highly motivated and organised person, as they will be responsible for carrying out reservations functions, including booking, altering and cancelling reservations, as well as sorting reservations-related issues and answering client queries.

What does the role involve? 👇

• Processing of incoming reservations;
• Controlling stop sales and entering into systems and extranets;
• Liaising with operators and hotels with regard to requests;
• Preparing transport orders and forwarding to suppliers;
• Preparing reports for hotels and representatives;
• Handling leisure group requests.

If you've got experience in a similar role, a pleasant personality and professional behaviour, we encourage you to apply! Since this is an English-speaking role, fluency in English is a must. Any knowledge of other languages would be considered an asset.

Successful candidates are also expected to have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Experience The Paston Singers live in Malta and Gozo!

Formed by David Ballard, The Paston Singers group has performed previous concert tours to Spain (where they sang at the Sagrada Familia, Barcelona and acted as the warm-up act for the boys choir at Montserrat Abbey), Portugal and Yorkshire. They have given premiere performances of works by composers including Laurence Caldecote and Michael Finnissy, and the second performance of John Rutter’s carol Carol of the Magi. In Norfolk they can be regularly found singing services around the county not least in Salle Church, one of the most perfect round tower acoustics in the country, as well as singing as a deputising choir at many English Cathedrals.

The Programme

The Paston Singers programme for their 2024 Malta tour is entitled Byrd, Birds, and Song. As it says in the title the 1-hour programme of acapella music has three sections; the first dedicated to the music of William Byrd, the second to music about various species of bird, and the third being a selection of pieces thematically linked to evening. These sections will be interspersed with pieces of music for solo clarinet on the theme of birds, and realising bird song on the instrument. Across the programme a variety of moods will be heard, ranging from the mournful contemplation of William Byrd’s Justorum Animae, to the hilarious ‘celebration’ of romantic rejection that is the same composers partsong Though Amaryllis Dance in Green, the beautiful soundscape of Josef Rheinberger’s Abendlied to the folk-song simplicity of Kate Rusby’s modern classic Underneath the Stars.
