A memorable evening was held yesterday as we celebrated the launch of The Knights' Infirmary in Valletta, 1574-2024, a captivating new book that delves into the 450-year history of our iconic building. Authored by 10 distinguished experts and expertly edited by MCC Chairman, Dr Kenneth Spiteri and Professor Victor Grech, the book offers an in-depth exploration of this historic landmark. 🏛️
During the event, a stunning painting of the book cover was unveiled by the Hon Clayton Bartolo, Minister of Tourism and artist Lucienne Spiteri, marking a special moment in our history. The painting has been generously donated to the MCC, adding to our rich heritage.
The evening concluded with a delightful reception, bringing together friends, colleagues, and guests to celebrate this important milestone.
