Aurélie Halbwachs Lincoln honoured Mauritius with her performance in cycling 🚴‍♀️ mountain bike race at the Paris Olympics 2024. Unfortunately, after a heavy fall during the race on the Elancourt Hill in the Yvelines, she was forced to abandon. She suffered from a hairline rib fracture and injuires on her wrist and fingers. 🇲🇺 Mauritius is proud 💪 of your performance. An exceptional athlete, a mother of 2 daughters and a role model for the young generation. ❤️💙💛💚 Alé Aurélie Alé Moris!

Julien Paul, the first 🇲🇺 Mauritian athlete to jump into the competition arena at the Paris Olympics 2024! Julien placed a wonderful display against the World Badminton Champion, Vitidsarn Kunlavut from Thailand. 👉 The badminton match favoured the Thai with a result of 2-0 (21-9-21-12). Julien will play his next badminton match against the Finnish, Kalle Koljonen.

with Nasir Ahmad Aullybux, Head - Grounds Maintenance at Côte d'Or. He is responsible for organising all required props, sports apparels and preparing the venues to host sports events, whether sports days or CJSOI games. Before any international or national ⚽ football matches, he fine-tunes the pitch by mowing and watering the grass. What he particularly enjoys about his role is the opportunity to meet various 🤩 international sports champions. Nasir also ensures that the national para-athletes have access to all training requirements. On Wednesdays, he dedicates his 💪 fitness hour to running on the athletics track and field. In his time off, Nasir enjoys quality time with his two daughters. His passions include fishing and hunting, and he finds peace and joy in instrumental music.

Last Sunday, Côte d'Or hosted the Air Mauritius Family and Staff Day which was filled with a variety of fun and leisure activities throughout the entire complex. Everyone rocked 💪 Zumba session on the athletic track and field. The concourse area in the Main Hall featured art exhibitions that enriched the cultural experience. Vintage and luxury cars were displayed in the parking lots for car tuning amateurs. Supported by football fans, football teams ⚽ engaged in a spirited competition, while aquatic activities in and around the swimming pools added to the festive ambiance. Children joyfully participated in running races and enjoyed dedicated play areas, contributing to the fun-filled 🥳atmosphere of the day.

Poonam Pentiah is the for April 2024. As a Handyworker at Côte d'Or, she exemplifies reliability and punctuality by consistently reporting to work on time. As an Administrative Assistant at Côte d'Or, she has demonstrated exceptional dedication in meeting 💪tight deadlines for financial processes. Anousha's diligent efforts have contributed significantly to the smooth operation of administrative tasks.

Last Friday, above 85 attendees joined the fifth edition of the free seminar for an enlightening discussion on Supplement Safety in Sports! 🌟 Juliane Clair, Performance Nutritionist at Côte d'Or, led the discussion to unravel the risks and benefits of supplements safety. From contamination concerns to enhancing safety protocols, athletes and coaches in the audience gained invaluable insights to optimise their performance. 👏 The Sports Medicine team of Côte d'Or was part of the medical 💙 care team for the 🇲🇺 Mauritius 7s Rugby Tournament by Ciel and Total Energies in which 12 African countries participated. 🩺 The Côte d'Or team led pitch side medical care, head injury assessment (HIA) and player welfare.
