Meet Loic Larue! It was love at first sight when Loic came at the Aquatic Centre to partake in the 🌊 National Winter Swimming Championship 2024. Hailing from Lycée de Mascareignes, this young swimming star is just 15 years old and is a bundle of energy and positive vibes. Loic was an intern at Côte d’Or for 3 weeks in June 2024 and his goal was to explore the dynamic world of sports and entertainment at Cote d'Or during his school holidays. From sports science to events and marketing, he had a taste of all but ultimately chose sports science. Loic has witnessed 🇲🇺 Mauritian elite athletes training and has gained invaluable insights and experiences that will shape his passion for sports. In this journey, he found his idol, Dr. Adisha Bholah, Director of the Sports Medicine wing of the High Performance Centre Mauritius. Here’s to nurturing the next generation of sports enthusiasts and professionals!

👏 Olympian and 4-time national cycling 🚴♀️ champion, Aurelie Halbwachs Lincoln, is dedicating herself to her ⚡ high-level training at Cote d'Or under the supervision of Mathieu Anodin, Senior Strength and Conditioning Specialist. 🚩 Aurelie is maximising on all sports amenities, cycling-focused performance training, and sports science and medical services of the High Performance Centre to peak her performance for the 🇫🇷 Paris Olympics Games 2024. This will be her third participation in the Olympics and she is the 🇲🇺 Mauritian woman to be qualified for a cross-country (VTT) race for the Olympics. 👉 Aurelie Halbwachs Lincoln is one of the first elite athletes of Team Mauritius who started training at the High-Performance Centre of Cote d'Or since its launch in November 2021. On top of being disciplined in her training sessions, she also serves as an 🌟 inspiration to many young athletes who train at Cote d'Or.
