Hi Everyone, don't forget the Christmas Lights events tomorrow in St Albans market. We will be there selling our mouthwatering mauritian food such as Dhal puri, carry grow pops (Butterbeans curry), rougaille, coriander chutney and chilli & Tamarind pickles; roti wrap with chicken curry; chicken biryani and beef biryani with cucumber and carrot salad; yogurt and mint sauce and chilli & tamarind pickles; gateau pigment and samosa chicken and lamb. Good morning All. Hungry Dodo will be at St Albans market tomorrow 14/10/15 from 10 am until 5.00pm. Please come and visit our stall. Menu for tomorrow is as follows: Lamb Samosa, Vegetable Samosa, Onion Bhajis, our famous Gateau piment (Mauritian falafel); aubergine fritters; freshly made dhal puri or roti wrap with Carri grois pois et pomme de terre (butterbeans and potato curry); rougaille (creole tomato and garlic sauce) and corriander chutney/pickles; Chicken and potato/pea curry, Chicken tikka or lamb catlesse (mauritian lamb burger) served in a brioche bun with garlic mayo, green salad, grated cheddar cheese and mango and chilli sauce. Hello Everyone, sorry for not posting for quite a while, had family
tragedy in Mauritius and had to fly there urgently. My dearest mum passed away sadly when I was there.

Back in UK now and The Hungry Dodo will be at the St Albans Food Festival tomorrow Sunday 4 October on St Peter's Street, St Albans. Please do come and visit our Stand (B23). We will be selling our amazing Mauritius food such as freshly cooked Dhal puri served with Carry Grois Pois (Butter Beans curry), Rougaille (tomato and garlic sauce), coriander chutney and chilli and tamarind pickles; freshly cooked gateau pigment (mauritian falafel or chilli cakes); Lamb catlesse served in a brioche bun with grated cheddar cheese, homemade garlic mayonnaise, mango and chilli sauce and mixed green salad; Chicken Tikka served in brioche bun and salad as above; Rashly cooked Chicken biryani /Beef biryani served with cucumber and carrots salad and yogurt and mint sauce. We hope to see you there.
