Inspired by the GPS tracking paths on smartwatches and phones, every detail celebrated the runners’ journey and determination.

Last year we came up with the idea of this golden butterfly for Dhiraagu Ramadan 2022 campaign.

The butterfly symbolizes the journey through difficulties and hardships, much like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon—stronger, more beautiful, and resilient.

Additionally, we chose the golden butterfly as a nod to those that circle around Sidrat al-Muntahā, the magnificent lote tree that marks the boundary of the seventh heaven and the limits of angelic knowledge. It was at this sacred tree that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ arrived during the miraculous journey of Isra and Mi’raj—a journey from Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Aqsa, followed by an ascension to the heavens, where he met God and received the command for the five daily prayers (Salah).
