Serena ha participado en la escena de la música electrónica en México durante 15 años, no sólo compartiendo escenario con diversos artistas, sino también en el diseño y organización de eventos. Actualmente forma con su pareja (Héctor Reyes a.k.a Wide Range) un dueto llamado RUSH AFFAIR, con el cuál tienen la mayor parte de sus presentaciones, incluso internacionalmente. Desde su unión en el 2013 h
an creado diferentes proyectos juntos, apoyando la escena de la música electrónica en Riviera Nayarit; actualmente tienen un lugar con propuesta gastronómica y musical llamado “La Negra”, en donde se presentan artistas de todas partes del mundo. Así mismo, producen desde el 2015 una serie de fiestas llamadas “Itinerante”, que como el nombre lo indica, cambian de temática y locación. En la actualidad Serena gusta de experimentar en sus Dj Sets sonidos que muten de principio a fin, saltando del downtempo al folk, de la electrónica al low-fi; siempre con eclectisismo, breaks, hip-hop, disco y de vez en cuando retomar algo de sus viejo amor, el techno. Lo que más disfruto de tocar sin dancefloor en La Negra, (sólo para eventos especiales), es que puedo tocar los viajes más astrales que hay en mi cabeza, sin la presión de que nadie llegue a sugerir "ponte algo más bailable"... El inicio de la temporada musical en la guarida, comenzó con un secuestro extraterrestre.
The thing I enjoy the most about playing without dancefloor at La Negra (only for special events) is that i can play the most astral trips I have in my head without the pressure of someone coming to suggest "don´t you have something more danceable?"... The music at the den this season started with an ABDUCTION.
