brilliant. i used to work at 7Eleven as a cashier in Austin-in Town Lake- and throwing away 30 samdwiches at midnight and burritos always seemed so dumb. Due to regulation/lawsuits one cannot give the food away. pretty stupid.

Hello, I am the SNAIL. I know I sometimes cause trouble by feeding on your garden plants. But please, don't kill me with poisons that cause suffering and contaminate your garden! Instead, use coffee grounds around your plants. I'll stay away, and you'll nourish the soil since coffee grounds make a great fertilizer.

If you see me stuck to a pot, don't pull me away; my protective covering will break, and I could die. And if you notice small snails following me, please leave them be. They are my delicate offspring with soft, fragile shells. Not many of them survive, but we are essential to the ecosystem and have an ancient history.

Hola Amigos Martocos,
I found an old picture of me—obviously old 🙄,
an 8 year old doesn’t run Martoca weddings smh— Anyway, while looking for Martoca photos from the 70s and 80s I found this gem.
I am going to decorate the restrooms with original Martoca photos from how Bucerias used to be when we grew up here.
This is me back in the day. I had no idea I would be in charge of leading a masterful team for our backyard wedding venue. Aka. Indie wedding venue. Or mom and pop shop they also may call us.
I didn’t have AI or I may not have been born with the computer in my bedroom or had a phone at all in Martoca back then, or in my town for that matter-First phones arrived in 1983
ish… my dad got them btw…
anyway, we don’t know much about high tech and social media tricks but we do have values and common sense and work ethic. Timeless features.
Stay tuned for Martoca decor renovations and fun additions during summer 2024…

How will you choose to decorate your very own Martoca wedding? As you can see, we can do ANYTHING you can think of or we think of :), just send us the inspo color scheme and the decor style concept and our team, Marisol, Mariana and Alejandra will create and execute for you! 💥
Don’t forget that large structures or volumes of flowers and large lighting and so on, require more time. And time is money. 💰 And also the flowers themselves are pretty—Pretty expensive! 😂 😝
This is why grooms prefer a bottle of Clase Azul on the table vs putting one orchids per table. But that will be your first couple fight. Have fun debating!
Normally I stand with my fellow dudes. But in this fight my bet is—the bride wins 🤣 🤣

Today—actually since day before yesterday—we prepare for Jasmine and Adam’s very own Martoca wedding extravaganza! 220 or so amigos are coming to Martoca to throw down hard! 😱 😬 💃🏼 🕺 🎶 🎉 At least 5 truckloads of roses about 4 cubic meters each load. 40 hours of building centerpieces! I know because I heard the dogs barking at the crew all night last night! 😂 I got zero sleep. 😂 the florists crew actually worked around the clock so the flowers stay as fresh as possible! ✊ They actually use cold water to make them last longer, did you know that? You can perl the roses to give volume and texture (all done by hand)…imagine 1,000 roses and peeling them by hand 😳 . Am I getting in touch with my inner Florist? Am i becoming a planner/designer? I may do some decor soon. Maybe the next wedding?! 😂 😆 😆 NO! Don’t freak out. It has 642 rooms! 10 pools and 10 restaurants! 33,000 sqft SPA (19 private Massage cabins) and 3 Saunas 😳 .
