“Dear all at Ser Casasandra,

whilst our planning for next year is already in progress (thank you for sending your offer), I wanted to make sure that I don’t miss the opportunity to say thank you before day to day madness distances us from the magic of Holbox.

We had an absolutely magical time at your hotel, our entire stay ruled by the peace, the impact of the exceptional aesthetic, the calming yet inspiring energy of Ser Casasandra. When you welcomed us saying ‘welcome to your home’, it truly felt like that.

Navigating life with teenage boys is no easy feat, but you gave us an invisible helping hand to switch off and relax - your welcome letter inspired us (including a 15yr old boy!) to lock away devices for the duration of our stay, your poems were read out loud before bedtime (I have them all filed from last year too) and we embraced the lovely music played at breakfast time.

Every single member of your staff contributed to making our stay special, a huge thank you to them. You run a wonderful operation, with attention to detail, care and love. It is felt and it is making a huge difference.
A few fellow guests and friends asked us ‘how does this place compare to...’ and every time I said that Ser Casasandra was unique, a refuge, a piece of magic, a source of energy - no comparison possible.

"Connect with the peace that we are"

The genesis of Ser Casasandra lies in the inspiration of the person who made it possible. Since its inception it has been the house of an artist. Founded as a place to find calm, to invite friends to be inspired, to create art, to abandon distractions and focus on the spirt while being surrounded by art. The ideal place to connect with the peace and love that lives in each one of us.

As soon as you arrive in Holbox Island the house of Ser Casasandra will take care of your needs. The main building faces the sea with each window ready to receive the smell of the sea. In the surrounding gardens you can enjoy the caress of the gentle sea breeze.

The design of Ser Casasandra has been overseen by Sandra Perez herself. She has handpicked different pieces from artisans from all over the world while also maintaining local integrity. The architectural design uses local, Solferino wood as the structural basis of the property. Luxury is in the small details: furniture by Patricia Urquiola, antiques, bohemian crystals, linen brought from India, sheets with a thousand thread-count, a cellar of only Mexican wines out of respect for local culture.
