WHIPLASH se estreno un día como hoy pero de hace 8 años.

Una carta de amor a la música…es difícil ver una película del género con tanta profundidad.

Un joven músico que se esfuerza por llegar a lo más alto de su carrera como baterista de jazz.

El director sacó la historia de su juventud, donde un maestro de batería literalmente lo llevó al extremo con su forma de enseñar, obsesivo y traum*tico…tanto que lo llevó a dejar la música, pero hizo un cortometraje, si, con sus pocos recursos retrató esta historia.

La llevo a festivales pequeños…consiguió fondos de una productora que confió en el y grabaron una película…poco a poco se fue ganando un lugar en festivales más grandes, hasta llegar a los BAFTA y a los premios Oscar. Llevándose un par del maximo galardón.

Una película que sin duda todos tienen que ver al menos una vez en su vida.
