Rene and Bryan celebrated their wedding in a historical venue in Mexico City. This place was originally built as a convent, founded in 1585. Also, one of the most prominent poets of Mexico, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, lived here for 27 years.

The convent closed in 1867 and is today home to the Claustro de Sor Juana University, a Site Museum, and an art space and gallery.

"Día de los mu***os" is one of the most important traditions in Mexico, in which we remember and honor those who have passed away.

Rene and Bryan decided to incorporate this beautiful tradition into their wedding with an "ofrenda". They also asked their guests to bring photos of their deceased loved ones, and included them in this altar. It was a celebration of life and love!
