Chelsea, the visionary behind George Rings, mentioned me to Christopher while he was designing his engagement ring. The dance floor became an artistic focal point, adorned with handcrafted red fabrics, a bold statement by one of Oaxaca’s most innovative celebration designers, Daniela Rossette. As the party unfolded, laser lights beamed the hashtag across the space, while disco balls cast dazzling reflections, amplifying the energy of DJ Rubén Aka FreeHall’s curated soundtrack—a mix designed to ignite the night.
The culinary experience was equally remarkable, with a menu crafted by renowned chefs Luis Arellano and Enrique Olvera. Their gastronomic vision elevated the celebration, offering guests a taste of Mexico’s finest flavors.
Bringing this intricate vision to life was wedding planner Yadira Castañeda, an expert in destination weddings that merge local heritage with creative originality. Alicia and Mike’s wedding on February 22th was a stunning fusion of tradition, art, and celebration, deeply inspired by Mexican milagritos. These small, symbolic amulets—representing gratitude, wishes, and divine requests—became the heart of the event’s aesthetic. Having lived in Mexico, Alicia wanted to share the magic of this tradition with her guests, commissioning artisan Roberto Vásquez to create unique handcrafted pieces. Each heart carried a single image, replicated 100 times, ensuring a meaningful and personal keepsake for everyone present.
The floral design by Luis Rojas of San Jacinto Florals seamlessly blended with the wedding’s visual theme, enriching the ambiance with deep, earthy reds. The venue, El Huerto de Criollo, served as the perfect backdrop, where warm tones and artisanal details enveloped guests in an atmosphere of romance and authenticity.

Monogram’s design for Emma & Thea was a masterful fusion of symbolism and craftsmanship, weaving together elements deeply rooted in Mexican heritage. Drawing inspiration from the surreal and intricate hand-chair designs of Pedro Friedeberg, the branding celebrated the power and presence of hands—evoking themes of creation, connection, and artistry.

The monogram itself carried the essence of Oaxaca: the organic textures of wood, corn husk, the vibrant energy of alebrijes, and the timeless silhouette of the agave plant—an homage to mezcal, tradition, and the land’s ancestral spirit. Every detail was intentional, from the hand-carved name tags to the fluid, interwoven lines that echoed the motion of hands in creation. The palette was bold and lively, a tribute to Mexico’s rich chromatic identity, reinforcing the joy and celebration of Emma & Thea’s union.

Through this branding, not only captured a vision but also honored the artisans, the culture, and the intimate symbolism of hands—a universal language of love, craftsmanship, and artistry.

And so, under a different roof but with the same love, you and Thea said yes at Cozana. It was nothing short of magic—an atmosphere filled with love, joy, and the serendipity of a long-awaited rain.

La cantera, un material natural originario de México y América Central, fue el elemento protagonista en la boda de Savannah en de . Yadira Castañeda, Wedding Planner de Oaxaca, colaboró con .com.mx para diseñar una pieza exclusiva en cantera rosa, integrándola de manera sutil y elegante en el styling de las mesas.

La paleta de color se inspiró en la destilería del rancho, una edificación construida con cantera de Mitla labrada a mano, resaltando su esencia rústica y sofisticada. interpretó estos tonos en composiciones florales que dialogaban con la textura y tonalidad de la piedra, creando una atmósfera armónica y natural.

El branding de la boda, concebido con absoluta libertad por el diseñador y artista plástico y su firma incluyó números de mesa en cantera, basados en la visión de Savannah. Como un gesto de autenticidad y sostenibilidad, los menús fueron elaborados con algodón de Pochote aportando un acabado artesanal y refinado.

Cada elemento fue cuidadosamente seleccionado para lograr un montaje impecable, donde la cantera, el diseño y la naturaleza se entrelazaron con fluidez. El banquete, a cargo de , fue el broche de oro de una celebración que exaltó la tradición y la belleza en cada detalle.
