Hello, I’m Lorenzo, the founder of Pride Maya Weddings.
My husband, Gustavo, realized this early on. Two years after our own wedding, he left his job to join me in this adventure. Soon after, Emily joined us, bringing a fresh, feminine touch to our team, followed by Cristina and Andy, each adding their own unique strengths.
Originally from Italy, I’ve been calling Mexico home for the last 10 years. Yes, I do have a taste for the finer things—luxury resorts, elegant dinners, and my ever-growing collection of stylish shoes. But I’m also a fan of authenticity, whether it’s a weekend in Monte Carlo or grabbing tacos at my favorite spot down the street. For me, true luxury isn’t about price; it’s about character. That’s why Pride Maya Weddings is built on the value of getting what you pay for. We’re a luxury wedding planning company for couples with an important budget who want their investment to guarantee exceptional service and unforgettable memories.
I’m a proud member of exclusive luxury wedding associations, and I believe in constant growth. While our focus is primarily in Riviera Maya, we’re expanding to Los Cabos, and every summer, we take on one or two events in Italy. But I’ll stop there—don’t want to give away too many spoilers about what’s next!
Now, here’s the one compromise I’m not so thrilled about: we still don’t have a dog! Gustavo and I have dreamed about getting a Frenchie for years, but since we’re often away, sometimes even for two months at a time, it’s just not the right moment. At the end of every year, we like to think, “Next year will be the year.” Maybe 2025 will finally be it!
Fun fact: the song you’re listening to right now? That’s actually one of my own! Yes, in my spare time, I write and record original music (usually in Italian).
