Today, we would’ve been meeting at the windmills and taking off towards our 10th annual Poker Run. Due to reasons beyond our control, we were better off canceling it.

Lots people still riding with plenty of smaller groups to ride with. Rzr Rentals, Penasco SxS, and Rocky Point SXS are some great groups to ride with in town.

We apologize and will be more than happy to help promote some local, organized rides.

I leave you today with my finest piece of work…one of many times getting stuck in the sand, dunes and estuaries. Let the good times continue! Happy riding!!

Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed this years poker run! 102 registered and what seemed like 60 who didn’t.

Already planning for nexts years event, a bit more regimented with the same old fun!

It’s important that people pay attention to preregistration and cutoff dates. Next years cut off date will be just that, a cut off date. Those who lag will end up at the end. We strive to give you the best possibly service by adding Mecanics and qualified guides to your enjoyment. Registration money not only ensures great cash prizes but also is a great way to give back to the community with a very generous donation.

Needless to say, it as a good turnout, had some great sponsors, and as always a good lunch.

Buenos días fellow off roadies! In approx 2 hours we’ll be departing in our journal. We’ve provided a link below to the route we’ll be taking. We also need to remind you of a couple of things.

1. PICK UP YOUR S**T!! Do not leave any garbage behind!

2. THIS IS NOT A RACE! There are parts where we’ll be able to speed up but most of it is cool, calm and relaxing.

3. PRE-PURCHASE YOUR LUNCH TICKETS. This helps speed up the process at the lunch stop. 200 pesos or 10 usd gets you 3 tacos, beans and the sides. 50 pesos of it goes to charity. You can purchase as of 8am at the Boobar or at the meet up point, Las Conchas gas station.

4. STAY ON PATH AND FOLLOW THR GUIDE! This means do not go out and start creating your own path. We must respect the roads that are out there already.

5. PICK UP YOUR S**T! We can’t emphasize this enough! Don’t leave any garbage in any parts of the desert. This includes beer cans.

NO AY QUE SER COCHIS MI GENTE!! RECOJAN SU BASURA!!

6. HAVE FUN AND ENJOY!!

Buenos dias! Finally our route has been finished, tacos have been confirmed, and all is a good for our 2nd annual Rendezvous Run through the desert!

There is no charge for this event. If you wish to have some tacos at the Taco stop, our good friend Kitty will be meeting us at the Taco stop located on the map. Cost will be 200 pesos for 3 tacos, beans, and the sides. Of those 200 pesos, 50 pesos will be donated to a local charity. Other than that, bring your drinks, make sure your fueled up, and lets ride!!

We'll be at the Boobar as of 8:30am the morning of saturday the 24th to give out taco coupons for those who can't purchase them beforehand. You can also come to the Boobar as of Monday and all throughout the week to purchase them. Please, DO NOT LOSE THEM!!!!

Meeting will be at the Las Conchas gas station at 9:15am and hopefully departing at approx 9:30am. Weather should be nice and beer should be cold....lets ride!

BOOBAR'S FIRST ANNUAL RENDEZOUS RUN

PRACTICE RUN this Tuesday Oct. the 1st. If anyone would like to come along, we'll be meeting at the Las Conchas gas station at 9am. Should be back at approx 4pm. So dont come if you'll be in a rush or afraid of catching a buzz 😊. This is a trial run, the first of at least 3. At times it may look like we dont know what we're doing, thats because we probably dont. This is the way all good times start!

La primer corrida es este martes para esta travesia. Si alguien quisiera venir, nos reuniremos en la gasolinera de Las Conchas a las 9 am. Par las 4pm aproximadamente estamos de regreso. Así que no vengas si tienes prisa o tienes miedo de una buena peda 😁. Esta es la primer corrida de 3. A veces puede parecer que no sabemos lo que estamos haciendo, eso es probablemente porque no lo sabemos. Así comienzan todos los buenos tiempos!
