Hello Dear Friends, My new Sacred Feminine Wisdom oracle deck is now available in San Miguel de Allende and Mazatlan! In SMA - Tienda Tesoros at La Biblioteca, Camino Silvestre on Correo, La Victoriana on Macias, and Galeria Amarillo78 on Calzada de la Luz. In Mazatlan, purchase at Casa Etnika. You are also welcome to come by my studio in San Antonio for your cards.

Sacred Feminine Wisdom is a companion to my Spirit Cards deck - yet different in many ways. The Spirit Cards use my symbolic work like the vessel, the bird, the vesica piscis, the spiral and focus on one power word - like Integrity, Gratitude, etc. The Sacred Feminine Wisdom deck uses my figurative work - women in their power (!) - and is paired with a phrase like 'Know Thyself', 'Follow Your Bliss', and 'Be Fearless'. I collaborated with spiritual healer Andrea Gower on the interpretations in the booklet. There's a beautiful foreword by Dr. Ratka Mira Popovich and an introduction my me.

Both decks are designed to be a companion on your journey to self-discovery. The cards are synchronicity at work - through both image and word. Open your mind, heart, and spirit to the messages your receive and use them as a form of meditation and contemplation.

At my exhibition, 'Seeking Aphrodite', Galeria Amarillo78, San Miguel de Allende, I have works that were created in Ireland or inspired by that trip - also seeking out ancient Goddess sites. Visit the exhibition thru March 31!

On a trip to Ireland for an art retreat at Ballinglen Arts Foundation in 2022, I visited megalithic stone circles and dolmens. Roaming the countryside, “I felt a connection to Goddess energy and the sacred feminine from one end of the island to the other. These holy lands captured my heart, as I could imagine women gathering in ritual to honor Celtic Goddesses like Brigid and Cerridwen. I visualized myself in these mystical places bathing in the light of the full moon as a bird (my spiritual messenger) flew overhead. As I walked in the footsteps of early priestesses, I felt a joyous energy and a connection to those who came before me.” Some of the prints I created there, 'A Magical Place' and 'Into the Mystic Night', hold the essence of my experience.

"Speak My Name" - this mixed media monoprint is part of a new series of prints I will be showing at Galeria Amarillo78 which opens this Saturday March 2 at 5pm.
The exhibition, "Seeking Aphrodite" refers to my pilgrimages to sacred sites around the world, specifically Neolithic and Paleolithic Goddess cultures, since my late 20’s. I’ve been following the thread of the pre-Hellenic goddesses before their myths were skewed by a patriarchal religion and society. The early stories of Gaia and Hera, Artemis and Aphrodite, celebrate the mysteries of the Sacred Feminine and connect us to our divine beginnings."
"On a trip to Turkey in 2023, I finally got to tour the land of ancient Anatolia, a place that archeologist Marija Gimbutas brought alive for me in her book, Language of the Goddess. But walking the ruins of Ephesus and other lesser known sites, I was saddened that the essence of the Great Mother was buried under so many layers of patriarchy and religion. Uncovering the early goddess cultures in Turkey was a serious challenge with so much emphasis given to the Romans, the Islamic religion, and barbaric invaders which came much later.
"Speak My Name" calls out Gaia, Ishtar, Isis, Artemis, Inanna, Aphrodite, and Astarte – all names for the Great Mother. With my photos from the trip, using xerox transfer and collage, I created one-of-a-kind prints meant to glorify those forgotten times. In this exhibition, Seeking Aphrodite, I invite you to visit these ancient sites through my eyes and celebrate the Sacred Feminine.

The Opening of my Solo Exhibition at Galeria Amarillo78, San Miguel de Allende is next Saturday, March 2 at 5pm. (Calzada de la Aurora #51 in the Landers Bldg. - just before the bridge to Fabrica Aurora. Up thru March 31st. ). I will be showing a new suite of prints inspired by my trip to Turkey last year. 'Seeking Aphrodite' refers to my quest to walk in the footsteps of the ancient Goddess culture.
